Rising Stars Group
An all ages group for beginners to intermediate tennis players featuring red ball, orange ball, and green dot ball. Group focuses on hand/eye coordination, stroke technique, footwork, tennis fundamentals, and fun point play. This is a great squad to build a players tennis foundation.
The Academy
An all ages group featuring intermediate to advanced tennis players involved with USTA tournaments, ALTA, or high school competitive tennis. Group focuses on footwork, speed & agility, patterns, targeting & ball placement, tactical based point play, and mental toughness.
Adult Drills
An adult only group for all tennis levels. Group focuses primarily on doubles strategy, hitting patterns, and tactical based point play.
New Player Day- RSVP Required
All ages welcome! An introductory tennis clinic for new players to come out to the courts, meet the Coaches, and hit a few balls. Tennis racquets are provided. This is an excellent opportunity to get your feet wet in the sport of tennis. RSVP required.
A native of Atlanta, Coach Luke began competing in junior tennis at age 11. He quickly achieved a high ranking in the state of Georgia, the South, and nationally. He competed against world-class American players, such as Robbie Ginepri, John Isner, and Brian Baker. Coach Luke represented the Southeast in the Zonals in Austin, Texas, and competed in the Copper Bowl in Tucson and the national 18’s. For two years, he played No. 1 for Kennesaw Mountain, receiving the "all county" honor. He went on to play some qualifying events on the ATP Tour, including the AT&T Challenge in Atlanta. Shortly after, he sustained a shoulder injury which prevented him from competing.
While living on the West Coast, Coach Luke developed a passion for teaching, an excitement and enthusiasm that drove him to return to his East Coast roots, especially Georgia. He is able to draw from his experience as a junior and understands the mental toughness, hard work and other factors that lead to success as a tennis player. He stresses the importance of good sportsmanship and wants his students to succeed on and off the court. Coach Luke works with boys and girls of all ages and currently is coaching some of the top juniors in the country. He is certified by the Professional Tennis Registry.
